Itinerary Details

After your arrival in Delhi, our tour representative will assist you to the hotel. After check-in, the day is at leisure. You can roam around in the local market or try some local dishes. If you wish to eat non-vegetarian dishes the go to the Old Delhi. Or else, enjoy an excursion to Dilli Haat for a delightful shopping spree.

On the 2nd day of your Exclusive Rajasthan with Taj tour, after breakfast, start sightseeing in Delhi. The popular attractions that you visit today include Laxmi Narayan Temple which is famously known as Birla Temple as it was constructed by the Birla Family. The next attraction of the day is India Gate which is an "All India War Memorial" where the names of the martyrs have been carved. 'Amar Jawan Jyoti' is also a popular attraction at India Gate which means 'Flames of the Immortal Soldiers'. People come here to pay their tribute to the martyr soldiers.

Later on, you will visit the Parliament House. Have lunch in the afternoon and start the second part of the Delhi city tour. Explore Old Delhi's attractions such as Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Gandhi Memorial. The evening is scheduled for attending the Sound and Light Show at Red Fort.

Today, breakfast is followed by a road journey to Mandawa, a small town in the Shekhawati region. On reaching, check-in at the hotel. After lunch, get ready for exploring the stunningly painted Havelis (mansions). Sewaram Saraf Haveli is 100-year-old palace and a famous tourist destination. The Havelis in Mandawa are famous for their paintings, monumental facades, rare artifacts, and old-world charm. Enjoy a guided tour of the splendid Mandawa Fort. This striking fort is quite famous for its paintings, mostly depicting the life of Lord Krishna.

Have your breakfast and start driving to Bikaner. As you reach, check-in at the hotel in Bikaner. Afterward, sightseeing in Bikaner starts with the Junagarh Fort that was built by Raja Rai Singh. In the first half of the 20th-century, the structure was renamed as the Old Fort. It was originally known as 'Chintamani' and later it was renamed. Next, you will visit the Bandh Sagar Temple, a Jain temple, built in the 16th-century.

On day 5, post breakfast, start your road journey to Jaisalmer, also known as the 'Citadel City'. Upon reaching, check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free. You can indulge in the activities of your interest. You may interact with the locals, visit the nearby bazaars for shopping and relishing tasty street food.

The day is scheduled for a city tour including the popular tourist attractions in Jaisalmer. Explore the mighty Jaisalmer Fort. It is one of the world's largest forts and placed on the top of Trikuta Hill. It is one of the few forts in India which are counted as 'Living Forts' as people still live inside the fort. Within the premises, there are Jain Temples and numerous Havelis that are the major highlights of the Golden Triangle tour package with Rajasthan. Later, explore two of Jaisalmer's most stunning mansions - Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli and Patwon–Ki-Haveli. These two structures have striking architecture and wonderful carvings. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride on Sam Sand Dunes, one of the most popular things to do in Jaisalmer.

Today, after relishing your breakfast, start your road journey to Jodhpur. Check-in at the hotel after reaching there. Settle down in the rooms. Lunch is followed by a city tour of Jodhpur including the glorious Mehrangarh Fort. Positioned 400 feet above the city, it is one of the largest forts of the country. There are so many palaces inside the fort which are known for the intricate carvings. Mehrangarh Museum is another famous tourist destination as it exhibits the armory, costumes, paintings and it also has a turban gallery. After this, the last destination of the day is Ghanta Ghar or the Clock Tower, constructed by Maharaja Sardar Singh. You can stroll in the market near the clock tower. It is a shopping hub, you can buy things for you from here.

After breakfast on day 8, your road journey to Udaipur starts. On the way, stop to explore the very-popular Ranakpur Jain Temples, famed for their delicate carvings. The marble pillars which support these temples are carved so beautifully. The temple is designed with four faces with quadruple images.

After exploration, continue towards Udaipur. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities. The day is at leisure. You can go out and meet the locals, try some local Rajasthani delicacies, or go shopping in the nearby local market. Rajasthan is famous for its handmade crafts.

After a fulfilling breakfast, start the sightseeing of the attractions in Udaipur. Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari – a garden which was specially built for the maids of the Queen and Jagdish temple which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple was originally called Jagannath Rai Temple. The day's last visit is to the City Palace, lying on the banks of Lake Pichola. The construction of this architectural marvel was started by Maharaja Udai Singh and continued by his successors. This architectural beauty is a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architectural style. Snuggled in between the Aravali Mountain Range, the City Palace offers a mesmerizing view of the Lake Palace, Monsoon Palace, Lake Pichola, and Udaipur city.

On day 10, start your journey to Pushkar, the 'City of Brahma'. On reaching, check-in at the hotel. The day is free for leisure activities. Explore the surroundings on your own. The handicraft, jewelry, miniature paintings, apparel, and traditional paintings are very famous in Pushkar which you can buy from the local markets. Also, you can savor local delicacies.

Half-day city tour of Pushkar is scheduled on day 11. Visit Pushkar Raj which is dedicated to the creator of the universe Lord Brahma and Apteshwar Mahadeo Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later, visit the Dargah of Moinuddin Chishti, a Sufi saint, in Ajmer. It is also famous by the name of the 'Ajmer Sharif'. Subsequently, start driving to Jaipur. Check-in at the hotel as you reach. In the morning, enjoy a visit to the Amer Fort. It is around 11 km away from the city center. Enjoy an elephant or a jeep ride up to the entry gate of the fort. Back in the city for sightseeing including City Palace - a wonderful amalgam of Mughal and Rajasthani styles of architecture. Later, visit the other attractions such as Jantar Mantar, the Royal Observatory (World Heritage Site) and Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli. Spend the evening shopping at the colorful bazaars in Jaipur. Today after breakfast, you will get transferred to Agra, by road. On the way, stop at Fatehpur Sikri which means the 'City of Victory'. Once the Mughal Capital, it was built by Emperor Akbar. This world heritage site houses several structures within its premises such as Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan, Panch Mahal, etc. All of them feature marvelous architecture that will leave you spellbound. Continue your journey towards Agra. On reaching, check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Roam around in the local market in Agra and don't forget to buy 'Petha' from here. It is a sweet dish made of pumpkin and is world-famous.

Today is the last day of the tour. You will visit Taj Mahal early in the morning to witness the sheer beauty of the monument. This white marble mausoleum was built by Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Later, explore the other attractions like Agra Fort which is an architectural marvel and Itimad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb - also known as 'Baby Taj'. Thereafter, head towards the Delhi airport/railway station to board a flight/train towards your onward destination. With this, your Taj Rajasthan package comes to an end.
