As you arrive at Cochin airport, our representative will greet and escort you to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while. Afterward, leave for the sightseeing of the Cochin city.

Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic significance over the centuries is emphasized by the nickname 'Queen of the Arabian Sea'. Cochin is also recognized as the 'Gateway to Kerala'.

The Kerala honeymoon tour in Cochin consists of excursion to several tourist attractions. These are the Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace or Mattancherry Palace and St. Francis Church.

Santa Cruz Basilica: - The Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica is one of the eight Basilicas at Fort Kochi. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay at Cochin.

After breakfast, leave for Munnar. It is a 4-hour drive from Cochin. After arriving, check in at the hotel.

Munnar is situated at an elevation of 6,000 ft. above sea level. Hailed as the 'Kashmir of South India', it charms the visitors with a pleasing climate, lovely surroundings and tea plantations, besides others. Spend the rest of the day on your own.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, leave the hotel for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. One of the biggest tea-plantation areas in South India, Munnar is one of the most beautiful and popular hill stations in Kerala. Munnar consists of many natural viewpoints along with the tea plantations. The places which you will visit include Christ Church, Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam and Anamudi Peak, which stands at an altitude of 2,695m above sea level. All these places are popular tourist attractions and offer plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and exploration.

Christ Church: - The church, counted amongst the most revered sites in Munnar, was built in AD 1910 by the British. This holy site is popular for its exquisite stained-glass windows. Besides, it has engraved brass plaques that were made in the memory of the tea planters. Christ Church is an iconic edifice in Munnar that boasts of elegant architecture and interiors. The massive glass windows and the serene surroundings are worth capturing! So don't forget to carry a camera while visiting this captivating place.

Eravikulam National Park: - The park is of undulating terrain and the highest peak is Anamudi (2695 m). Three major types of plant communities found in the park are Grasslands, Shrub Land and Shola Forests. Turner's valley splitting the park unevenly in half from the northwest to the southeast is the deepest. you can spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr here in this park.

Mattupetty Dam: - More than just a dam, the journey to the place and the surprises from the forests by the side of the road are more exciting. Echo Point is a good spot nearby to go down to the river bed and have some fun.

Anamudi Peak: - It is the highest peak in the Western Ghats and South India, at an elevation of 2,695 meters (8,842 ft). Anamudi Peak is one of the only three prominent peaks in South India. It is having the greatest topographic isolation within India. It is also known as the "Everest of South India.

Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

On day 4 of your Kerala honeymoon tour, head to Thekkady after the breakfast. On reaching, check in at the hotel. Thekkady is well known for its thick evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist ephemeral forests and savanna grasslands. You will find herds of elephants, tigers, sambar, lion-tailed macaques, gaur, and Nilgiri langurs. Today, you will visit the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve.

Periyar National Park is one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world and the best-protected reserve area that one can lay eyes on in India. Well-known for its attractiveness, vegetation and tranquility, the park is home to plentiful significant species such as the royal tigers and majestic elephants along with reptiles, fishes, and birds. After the lunch head for a memorable boat ride on the Periyar Lake for sightseeing. This boat ride is a must for wildlife and nature enthusiasts. Tall trees and exotic wildlife gives the tourists an opportunity to see the natural beauty of the forest.

Afterward, stay overnight at the hotel.

After the breakfast drive towards Alleppey.

Alleppey: - Officially called Alappuzha, it is known for its wide network of interlinking, palm-fringed canals called backwaters and rejuvenating Ayurvedic resorts. Alleppey is also popular for its Houseboat cruises. Spend a memorable time with each other as you sail on backwaters on houseboat also known as Kettuvallam. You can catch glimpses of green paddy fields, choir making activities, beautiful avifauna and witness the life of locals in Kerala. Towards the shore is the Alleppey Beach. It is a beautiful example of the gems you will see along the Malabar Coast.

Spend the night on the houseboat.

In the morning, disembark from the houseboat along the Alleppey shores and check out. From there head to Kovalam by road. The beach town is most famous for its three pristine beaches with shallow waters and low tidal waves where one can go surfing, wooden and motorboat riding. Ayurvedic treatments are one of the popular indulgences along with yoga, meditation and also other cultural activities. Kovalam is also a great shopping destination where you can buy rich spices, wooden statues and handicrafts that can be popular takeaways.

On reaching Kovalam, check in at the hotel and relax for a while. After lunch, opt to visit various beaches and indulge in watersports. Rejuvenate yourself with a nice massage at one of the several Ayurveda centers.

In the morning, stroll hand in hand along the beautiful Kovalam Beach and then head towards Kanyakumari. Surrounded by mountains and bordered by vibrant sea shores, Kanyakumari is lined with paddy fields and coconut trees. The place also boasts of aesthetically elevated patches of hills with undulating valleys and plains in between the sea and the mountainous terrain.

Here, you will visit the Kanyakumari Temple, also known as the Bhagavathy Amman Temple or the Kumari Amman temple. It is one of the major Hindu temples all across India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kumari Amman and it is mentioned in almost all ancient Hindu scriptures. The temple is visited by pilgrims to pay their respects to the virgin goddess Kanya Devi.

Next, you will visit the brilliant Padmanabhapuram Palace. It is one of the most beautiful palaces in India which is the symbol of the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India. It has been around for many centuries aptly. The Padmanabhapuram Palace houses several unique antiques and artifacts. What is worth noting about this palace is the fact that it is made entirely from wood and no other material. Decorated with attractive wooden carvings and designs, the simplicity of the Palace makes it a truly delightful destination.

Afterward, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast, leave for Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram. It offers an appealing blend of a strongly rooted heritage and a nostalgic colonial legacy. The city of Trivandrum has an exceptional vibe to it.
