Itinerary Details

On the 1st day of the guided tour of the Golden Triangle circuit, our tour representative will receive you at the New Delhi airport. He will then help you with a guided transfer to the hotel. After freshening up, we would take you for a half-day tour of Delhi.

Delhi, the capital of the country showcases a beautiful union of the old and the new. The city is the home of inspiring historical monuments like Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, etc. The famous Rashtrapati Bhavan where the president of India resides is the second largest residence in the world.

Places to visit - Jama Masjid, India Gate and Chandni Chowk.

Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques in India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and holds a place of prominence amongst the Muslim population of the country. Soak in the bustling atmosphere of old Delhi surrounding the Masjid.

India Gate is a war memorial dedicated to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died during the First World War.

Chandni Chowk is the oldest marketplace of Delhi and is a must-visit place for shopping lovers.

The next morning we will proceed for the rest of the local sightseeing tour of Delhi.

Places to visit - Humayun's Tomb, Parliament House or Rashtrapati Bhavan, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple.

Visit the famous Humayun's Tomb, the first garden-tomb of the country. The green landscape and beautiful structure of the tomb will take your breath away. After this, we will visit the Parliament House or Rashtrapati Bhavan (from outside). Later we will visit the Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple.

Qutub Minar is a 73 meters high tower and it is said to be constructed to celebrate the Muslim rule in India. The beautiful architecture of the Lotus temple in the shape of a lotus flower makes it a grand place to visit.

After the tour, we will embark on the journey towards Jaipur by road. The Delhi - Jaipur highway is one of the best roads in the country for road trips.

On the 3rd day of the Jaipur sightseeing tour, explore the royal Rajasthani culture during the whole day trip of Jaipur.

Jaipur stands tall as the exhibitor of the Rajput tradition of India. Built by King Sawai Jai Singh in the eighteenth century, Jaipur is the first planned city of the country. The famous places that are must visit in and around Jaipur are the Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. One is bound to get awestruck by witnessing the grand lifestyle and the wonderful architecture that this place boasts of.

We will visit Amber Fort where you get to enjoy an elephant ride just like a Rajasthani royal. The beautiful palace is located on the top of the hill and is a prime tourist destination of Jaipur.

Later we will visit Hawa Mahal and City Palace. Constructed of red and pink sandstone, Hawa Mahal is a grand palace in Jaipur. Showcasing a wonderful architecture, the palace flaunts several intricately carved windows. Once the seat of kings, the City Palace is again a must-visit destination.

A trip to Nahargarh Fort is also there. Standing on the edge of the Aravalli Hills, the Nahargarh Fort overlooks the entire city of Jaipur. In the evening stroll through the markets of Jaipur. Buy colorful Rajasthani clothes and amazing souvenirs that will keep you reminding about Rajasthan.

The next morning after breakfast begin your journey for the Agra tour via Fatehpur Sikri.

Agra is another place to visit on this trip of Golden Triangle tour with Varanasi. Agra has three UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Agra Fort, the famous Taj Mahal, and Fatehpur Sikri, an entire fort city built by Mughal emperor Akbar.

The Mughal fort city of Fatehpur Sikri was established by Emperor Akbar. It remained the capital of the Mughal Empire for a short period. Be ready to get awestruck by the beautiful Buland Darwaza and the three palaces that Akbar built for his three main wives - a Hindu, a Muslim and a Christian. Hailed as the "Gate of Victory", the Buland Darwaza was built to commemorate Akbar's victory over Gujarat.

The distance between Agra and Fatehpur Sikri is around 40 km. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, we will continue with our journey towards Agra and reach the 'City of Taj' by afternoon. The rest of the day is free.

On day 5 of the Golden Triangle with Varanasi tour starts early in the morning.

Places to visit - Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Itmad-Ud-Daulah tomb.

Get ready to visit the Taj Mahal to explore the grand architectural wonder. Taj Mahal is among one the Seven Wonders of the World. The grand marble palace was built in 20 years and is now known to the world as the monument of love. After this, we will visit the Agra Fort which was the home of the Mughals, the Marathas and later the British Empire. Then, we will pay a visit to the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah. The importance of this place is because the structure looks like the smaller version of the Taj Mahal.

Get transferred to the station to board the train to Varanasi in the evening.

Enjoy the night journey from Agra to Varanasi onboard.

On the 6th day of the Varanasi sightseeing tour, meet our tour representative at the Varanasi station and get comfortably transferred to the hotel.

The last gem in this tour is Varanasi, the holy place of the Hindus that will offer you an experience of a lifetime. Historians claim the city to be around 3000 years old. Varanasi takes utmost pride to her heritage and hence most of the old part of the city along the river Ganga has retained the old world charm at their best. One can explore the city via land or can enjoy the spectacular views of the city from a distance while delighting in a boat ride on the Ganga. The famous 'Ghats' along the river has been mostly built by Hindu kings.

Places to visit - Sarnath, Temple of Sankat Mochan, Alamgir Mosque, Bharat Mata temple, Dashashwamedh Ghat for Ganga Aarti.

After freshening up, we will visit Sarnath, a famous Buddhist religious site. After this, explore the various Ghats of Varanasi. Later on, visit the Sankat Mochan (Hanuman God) temple and walk through the oldest alleys of the world. Experience Hinduism at its best in this city. We will also visit the Alamgir mosque and Bharat Mata temple.

There are around 88 'Ghats' built along the river and one can easily explore them on foot or a boat. In the evening, we will see the beautiful Varanasi Ganga Aarti (worship of river Ganga) at the Dashashwamedh Ghat of Varanasi.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
