Itinerary Details

Our representative will be present at the airport/station respectively to welcome you to 'Dilwalon ki Delhi'. You won't be staying here though. From Delhi, we will arrange a transfer to Shimla for you. The road from Delhi to Shimla, also known as the 'Queen of the hills', is blessed with natural beauty. You will enjoy the ascending transition to the hills through the dwindling roadways and lush greenery.

You will reach Shimla after 8 hours of road journey. Check in at the hotel. You can explore a few of the nearby places like the Mall, the Ridge and Christ Church on your own.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

The next day, after breakfast, you will embark on a day trip to Kufri, a rustic little hill town that is located at a distance of 13 km from Shimla. You can indulge in a host of activities here like trekking to the Mahasu Peak or horse ride and yak ride. If these activities are not on your bucket list, then enjoy the awesome view of the mountain peaks from one of the viewpoints in Kufri.

Coming back from Kufri, you are free to relax in the evening in Shimla.

Overnight stay at Shimla.

On the third day of your complete Shimla tour, after having a scrumptious breakfast, start your journey towards Manali. The distance between Shimla to Manali is around 250 km and takes approximately 6 hours. Enjoy the wonderful scenery on the way.

Reach Manali and check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day is free for enjoying some 'Me' time in Manali. You can rest in the hotel or explore the city as you like!

Manali is a top choice among the tourists for the beauty that the place offers. Apart from the gorgeous Himalayas, another natural blessing that Manali boasts of is the beautiful Beas River that adds to the charm of this awesome hill station.

On the fourth day after breakfast, you will visit the famous Rohtang Pass. This high-mountain pass is known for the sublime beauty and excitement that it offers to the visitors. Located at a distance of 51 km from Manali, Rohtang Pass is situated at a height of 3979 meters. It remains open for the visitors only from June to October. During the rest of the year, it remains fully covered with snow. The road that meanders through the pass has been termed as one of the most dangerous in the world.

Tourists enjoy the snow and mesmerizing view that Rohtang Pass offers. There are many shops on way to the highest point from where you can rent snow boots and jackets if you want to play with the snow. However, you must be sure to take care of your health as altitude sickness is common among tourists here. Witness the picturesque view of the mountains from Rohtang pass and then we will come back to Manali by evening. You can spend the evening as you wish.

The next day is reserved for visiting tourist places in Manali. Visit the Hadimba temple - the legendary temple dedicated to the deity 'Hadimba', wife of Bheema, one of the Pandavas in Mahabharata. The temple is located amidst a forest that adds to the mystique of the place. Then visit the Tibetan Monastery, Vashist village and Manu Temple. Apart from the sandstone temples in Vashisht village, you can see the hot spring that is said cure many illnesses. Manu temple is a historical temple dedicated to the Hindu sage Manu. Witness innumerable apple trees in Manali.

In the evening spent time relaxing amidst nature by yourself.

After breakfast today you will start for Dharamshala. You will cover a distance of around 240 km in approximately 7 hours. All the roads in Himachal Pradesh are known for their natural beauty, hence you won't be denied a treat to your eyes on this road trip. Upon reaching Dharamshala, check-in at the hotel. The evening is free for you to enjoy at Dharamshala by yourself. Stay at Dharamshala for the night.

This beautiful hill station is known worldwide for being the place of residence of Dalai Lama. The town has Tibetan culture and you can experience by visiting any one of the beautiful monasteries there. Surrounded by cedar and deodar tree, Dharamshala is every traveler's most sought-after place to unwind and relax.

The seventh day is for Dharamshala sightseeing. You will visit the famous Namgyal Monastery that is known for the beautiful views of the mountains one cherish from here. Then visit the 'Jwala Mukhi' temple, one of the famous temples dedicated to goddess Durga. The temple has an eternally burning flame that never extinguishes. Then witness the gothic architecture of the St. John in the Wilderness church that is dedicated to St. John the Baptist. Later visit the Tibet museum, which has many historical Tibetan artifacts for visitors to see. After the long tiring day, the whole evening is at your disposal to do anything you like.

Stay at Dharamshala for the night.

The travel time between Dharamshala and Dalhousie is around 4 hours and the distance covered is 120 km. Post breakfast, we will drive to Dalhousie. This quaint little town was once the colonizer's favorite owing to the charming natural greenery that it offers to the visitors. The hill station owes its stylish name to Lord Dalhousie, after whom this town is named.

Reaching Dalhousie, you will check in at the hotel first. Then the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy and explore.

After breakfast, visit some of the must-see places in and around Dalhousie. Explore Khajjiar, a beautiful small town having a picturesque valley where you can soak in the beauty of the hills while resting on the grasslands of the valley. Then enjoy a short walk to Panchpula, a picnic spot which has waterfalls accompanied by charming mountain views around.

Later visit Subhash Baoli, a perennial spring named after the renowned freedom fight Subhash Chandra Bose, which is said to contain amazing medicinal properties. As per common beliefs, it is said to have cured the illness of Netaji or Subhash Chandra Bose. A visit to the Bakrota hills is not be missed to explore the surrounding photogenic landscape. Also, you will visit the St. John Church, the Protestant Church filled with the memories of the British regime.

Stay at Dalhousie for the night.

It's time to bid adieu to the Himalayas and make your way to the plains. The distance between Dalhousie and Chandigarh is approximately 315 km and takes around 7 hours to cover the same. The first planned city of India, Chandigarh is located at the foothills of the Shivalik Range. The city is divided into 47 sectors and boasts of perfect architectural design.

Reaching Chandigarh, you will check in to the hotel first.

Later visit the famous Rock Garden, Pinjore Garden and enjoy boating on the Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh. There are many gardens that you can visit here. Apart from these, visit the Government Museum and Art Gallery in Chandigarh that exhibits stone sculptures of Gandharan period, Rajasthani miniature paintings. Call it a day at the International Dolls museum that has a collection of a wide variety of dolls from many countries of the world like Germany, Spain, Netherlands and Korea apart from India.

The trip comes to an end and you will travel to Delhi from Chandigarh today. Reaching Delhi, we will drop you to the airport or railway station for your onward journey towards home.
